Charlotte, NC, February 12, 2026: Lift Up Carolinas, a nonprofit run by volunteers focused on helping children and families in the greater Charlotte area, has been selected as the Beneficiary for the 7th annual CLT Charity Golf Tournament. The event is expected to draw over 200 participants and aims to raise over $80,000 to benefit Lift Up Carolinas. It will be held on May 11, 2026, at Tega Cay Golf Club in Tega Cay, South Carolina.

The 2026 CLT Charity Golf Tournament is a key event for the CLT Airport Community Partnerships (ACP), bringing together partners, corporate sponsors, businesses, and community members for a day of friendly competition and philanthropy. The outing features both 18‑hole and 9-hole courses, exciting hole-in‑one and longest drive competitions, raffle prizes, and great food throughout the day to support local causes in the “airport’s backyard.” Since 2019, the CLT Charity Golf Tournament has raised over $600,000 to benefit nonprofits and promote positive community impact.

The tournament was established by the CLT Airport Community Partnerships, which is comprised of companies that operate out of, are based in, or have business with Charlotte Douglas International Airport.  Each year, the event brings the community together and demonstrates ACP’s genuine commitment to supporting and uplifting the families and children who live nearby.

This year’s proceeds will go directly to Lift Up Carolinas to help reach more children and families in need. Their overarching goal is to ensure every child is nourished, empowered, and supported — laying the foundation for a brighter future.

Lift Up Carolinas helps meet urgent needs by offering programs that provide new clothing, food, school supplies, mentorship, and education support. Key programs include Gear Up Carolinas for school clothing and supplies, Check Hunger for food support through mobile pantries and weekend backpacks, Mecklenburg County Teen Court to create new opportunities for youth, and four additional impactful programs.
